Don't forget to vote May 21st for the School budget. Please tell everyone to get out and vote. I know in Greece our taxes will be going up and with the economy the way it is people cannot afford another increase. Just keep in mine that if 3,000 people go to the polls and vote most of them are teachers, and school employees. I'm sure you know how they will vote, after all they want their pay raises and benefit increases. Don't let them fool you in saying "it's for the kids", because in reality it's really for the teachers, their benefits and pay raises that the unions fight for every year. We all have to live within a budget it's about time the School District does the same. Remember a NO vote is a vote FOR THE PEOPLE and a YES vote in a vote FOR THE UNIONS. So remind as many people as you can to get to the polls and help stop the endless yearly School tax increases in a time when we all need to tighten our belts.

Spike's thoughts on paying our fair share. Obama keeps saying that all Americans need to pay their fair share. He insists that the top 1 to 2% of Americans making over $250k need to pay more in taxes. Well if Obama really wants everyone to pay their fair share then it's time to make people receiving a welfare check to work and have them pay their fare share also. There is no reason why people collecting a welfare check can't clean our parks, our streets, our neighborhood, or doing some kind of community service. I'm sure there are many jobs they can do to earn the check that the taxpayers give them every month. The population of the United States in approximately 300 million of which 10% are on government assistance. With over 30 million people on welfare, it seems to me that the top 1 to 2% are not the only ones not paying their fair share but the 10% receiving some kind of welfare assistance also need to pay their fare share to. What say you Obama, will you start collecting from the bottom 10% of the population that don't pay their fare share, or are you still focused on destroying capitalism by taxing the job creators in this country. It's time to tell the American people what your agenda really is. | |||
